Welcome! Purpose and Focus of this blog

This blog has been created for and about raising Godly children with liberty in Christ. As a librarian and mother of three, I have never been a supporter of censorship. My children have been free to think, free to laugh, free to love, and free to listen to the Holy Spirit and His discerning voice. Blessedly, I have three children who love the Lord and are even more watchful than I regarding literature, movies, music and art and have developed a wonderful Christian Aesthetic. I have found that when parents constantly talk in the child's ear about what they cannot read, watch, listen to.... (no, no, no) it always backfires. These poor children, whose spirits become broken, begin to count down the days they can leave home. They not only reject the parents who enforce severe censorship, but they reject the God of their home. That is not our goal as Christian parents. This blog is dedicated to those parents who look to God --Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to establish the hearts and minds of His children.
